Projects
Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide.  Below are the projects in which we are currently involved:

Flushing High School Key Club Key Clubs are high school service leadership programs led by school faculty advisors and Kiwanis Club advisors. The Kiwanis Club of Flint has sponsored the Flushing High School Key Club since the Flushing Kiwanis Club disbanded. Key Club members raise funds and provide community service, primarily in Flushing. Interclub Meetings Linden Legion Hall Joseph Higgins
Kiwanis Hospital Dolls Residents at a Senior Center sew dolls that are given to children who are having surgery at the hospital. The dolls are used to help the doctors explain what the procedures are that will be done and the children can personalize their own doll. Kim Courts
Kiwanis Whaley House Kiwanis Whaley House is a home that was funded by Kiwanis Clubs in Division 17 that houses six young men from the Whaley Home. Whaley is a home for children who have been abused or mistreated by their families. Tanya Lane
Student Athlete Program A program that honors outstanding male and female high school athletes each month, September through May. The program culminates in May by naming a male and a female student athlete of the month the Athlete of the Year. Gary Langdon
Traffic Triangle Beautification Kiwanis Club of Flint provides beautification and landscaping of the traffic triangle located at Robert T. Longway Boulevard and East Boulevard Drive. Joseph Higgins
